Twelve-step programs emerged nearly a century ago as a way to help recovering alcoholics. At Monarch Shores, we offer our clients the option to follow the program as they work through their substance use disorders.
SMART

We at Monarch Shores realize that not everyone wants to follow a 12-step plan. As a result, we also offer SMART Recovery’s program of self-empowerment to overcome addiction.
IOP

Once Monarch Shores’ clients finish residential treatment, they have the option to take part in our Intensive Outpatient Program. Meetings are held letting clients participate in various therapies as they master mindfulness and relapse prevention.

STRUCTURED TREATMENT SCHEDULE:
Recovery is no run-of-the-mill endeavor. At Monarch Shores, we offer a full calendar of programs designed to create a holistic healing experience.
ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Recovery can be difficult, but in addition to treatment we offer a number of activities to show that having fun and being sober are not at odds with one another. Hikes and bonfires, kayaking and paddle boarding, whale watching, laser tag, and other activities.

At Monarch Shores, we understand that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to recovery. Medical professionals, therapists, counselors, and dedicated support staff will create and implement a program best suited to each patient’s needs.

Opioid addiction is extremely complex to overcome. We at Monarch Shores offer Medication-Assisted Treatment, a process that ensures safe withdrawal via a combination of medicines, counseling, and support.
ALCOHOL

If alcohol use and abuse are taking over your life, or that of a loved one, Monarch Shores can help. We help our patients get through withdrawal safely and comfortably, followed with treatments to help achieve sobriety and aftercare plans so they can stay substance-free.
STIMULANT

Stimulant abuse and addiction can include any number of substances, from street drugs like cocaine and crystal meth to prescription ADHD medications such as Adderall and Ritalin.
